Sinks & TapsPressed SinksDuring the manufacturing process, most pressed stainless steel sinks are "stamped" into shape. That means that the material stretches and therefore the corners can be thinner than the sides for example. We suggest at least a 0.9mm sink - anything less will likely be remarkably thin in the corners. We have a good selection of pressed sinks all in 0.9mm stainless. A good economical range. Handcrafted SinksThese are manufactured from 1.2mm thick stainless steel, cut from solid plate and "fabricated" into the sink shape, welded together and then finished by hand. That means that the material is not stretched in any way. The main benefit is that tighter corners can be formed to make a squarer look. We have a beautiful range of handcrafted sinks to suit all tastes and they give your kitchen that amazing designer look at unbeatable DIY prices.
